“四时天气促相催，一夜薰风带暑来”。每年公历5月5日至7日，当北斗七星的斗柄指向东南方，便是立夏的时刻。立夏标志着春天的结束，夏天的开始，因此也被称为“春尽日”。

"Four seasons urge each other on; overnight, the warm breeze brings the heat." Every year, around May 5th to 7th, when the handle of the Big Dipper points to the southeast, it marks the arrival of the Beginning of Summer. This solar term signifies the end of spring and the beginning of summer, and is also known as the "End of Spring."

They also boil tender “Beginning of Summer eggs,” which are then tapped together, wishing for a fulfilling life.
